Twitter Blue will now cost $8 a month and will include new features like verified checkmark and more

Elon Musk has announced that Twitter Blue will now cost $8 a month from $4.99 a month.

The new Twitter Blue subscription will include many new features like priority in replies, mentions, search, posting longer videos and audio clips. According to Musk this will help defeat the scam and spam on Twitter.

Twitter Blue will give blue checmarks to subscribed users which is currently only available to verified accounts like celebrities, or companies.

This is all Musk's plan for the future of Twitter which he believes will be profitable and he's also planning to bring back popular video platform Vine. Inorder to to make these changes at Twitter, Musk has pulled over 50 Tesla employees to work at the company.
