Today Bloombergs Mark Gurman Shared some details regarding the new Apple Watch models.

The Apple Watch Series 7 will be thicker and have boxy edges like the iPhone 12. Apple will also introduce a new thinner laminated display for the watch. There will also be a faster processor with better UWB support and better wireless connectivity. The new Apple Watch normally gets introduced at the Apple September event so we should expect to see it there.

For the Apple Watch Series 8, Apple will introduce a new “Explorer Edition” Apple Watch. Apple is also working on to release a body temperature sensor for the Apple Watch Series 8 and a Blood Glucose Monitor which can measure your blood glucose without having to get blood from your body.

Lastly the Apple Watch SE 2 won’t be introduced at the Apple September event this year. Apple plans to launch it in 2022 with the Apple Watch Series 8. This model won’t be receiving yearly updates like the other Apple Watch models.
