Apple’s WWDC 2024 developer conference set to kick off with keynote on June 10

Apple has announced the dates for its 35th annual Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC), running from June 10 to June 14. The keynote, scheduled for June 10 at Apple Park in Cupertino, California, will kick off the event, while the rest of the conference will be held online and free for developers.

Expectations for the keynote include software-focused announcements, with a potential spotlight on Apple's advancements in AI. Reports suggest unveilings of updates such as iOS 18, iPadOS 18, tvOS 18, macOS 15, and watchOS 11, along with visionOS 2 for the Apple Vision Pro headset.

Hardware announcements aren't out of the question, as last year's WWDC saw several product reveals. Speculation includes a possible update for the Mac Mini, perhaps featuring the M3 chip.

Regarding iOS 18, rumors hint at integration of Google's Gemini AI into Siri and iPhone apps, along with features like customizable app placement on the home screen and RCS support in the Messages app.

The keynote will be accessible through various platforms including the Apple Developer app, Apple's website, and YouTube. Additionally, 50 winners of the Swift Student Challenge will have the opportunity to attend WWDC in person.
