Apple’s “Spring Loaded” event will debut a variety of products including a few surprises

Apple will launch a variety of new products tomorrow at their “Spring Loaded” event which will be their first event of 2021. It is rumored that the event will be centered around the iPad.

Products that are expected to launch are the new iPad Pro 11” and 12.9” models which will feature a new mini-LED display on the 12.9” model along with the A14X chip and support for 5G. The iPad Pro’s will also get “modest price increases” according to Wedbush analyst Daniel Ives and Strecker Backe.

We can also expect to see the new refreshed iPad mini which won’t have any new design changes but will have new features and will most likely get a new chip. The base model iPad could also get refreshed at this event, but there is no certainty that we will see a new model.

Other products that we will be seeing at this event include the new Apple Pencil 3rd generation which will have a glossy finish and new features. We will see Apple’s longtime rumored tracking device called AirTags. There’s also a possibility of us seeing the new AirPods 3, but they won’t launch until sometime during the summer.

Many rumors have suggested that Apple is planning on releasing a new redesigned Apple Silicon iMac at this event. The new iMac is rumored to have a new design which is similar to the Pro Display XDR, and come in a variety of colors like the iMac G3.

Finally Apple might be launching a new service called Podcast+. Last year Apple launched their Apple One program which let’s users bundle up Apple services for a one time monthly fee. It is possible for Apple to expand that network by introducing new services.

The Apple event will be broadcasted live tomorrow at 10am PDT. It will be available on apple.com and YouTube. The event will be digital like all other previous events due to the ongoing pandemic.
