Apple launched many new features with in iOS 14.5. A new feature that stands out a lot is App Tracking Transparency which allows you to choose if you want a certain app to track you or not.
App developers are now required to ask you if you want them to track you using your phone or if you don’t. Many apps like Facebook are against this since they’re business runs on personalized ads targeted towards users by tracking them.
With iOS 14.5 Apple gives you an option to protect your data from app developers. App Tracking Transparency will stop apps from tracking you if you choose to do so.
