According to a new report from Ross Young, Apple is interested in foldable displays for the Mac.

According to Young, Apple is currently holding discussions with display manufacturers to manufacture a 20-inch foldable screen which can be used on a future foldable Mac.

Young claims that Apple could be trying to create a Mac that can serve as a display when I folded and serve as a laptop with a digital keyboard when folded.

Young believes that the device could debut in 2025 or 2026 - 2027.

Ross Young is a very reliable leaker and hasn’t gotten any leaks wrong so it’s possible Apple is working on a 20-inch foldable display for the Mac, but Apple also has a tendency to not experiment with their products and only release them when it’s full ready, so we probably won’t see this product anytime soon.
