Apple is informing early Apple Card users that their physical titanium cards will expire this summer, with replacements on the way.
The cards, issued in August 2019, are set for replacement after a five-year lifespan. Despite the digital focus of Apple Card's features, the physical card remains essential for in-person transactions.
Replacement cards will arrive within two weeks, accompanied by prepaid shipping labels for recycling old cards.
Apple advises immediate activation when received, as the old card will cease to function upon expiration.
