- Apple’s “Spring Loaded” event will debut a variety of products including a few surprises
Apple will launch a variety of new products tomorrow at their “Spring Loaded” event which will be their first event of 2021. It is rumored that the event will be centered around the iPad. Products that are expected to launch are the new iPad Pro 11” and 12.9” models which will feature a new mini-LED display on the 12.9” model along with the A14X chip and support for 5G. The iPad Pro’s will also get “modest price increases” according to Wedbush analyst Daniel Ives and Strecker Backe. We can also expect to see the new refreshed iPad mini which won’t have any new design changes but will have new features and will most likely get a new chip. The base model iPad could also get refreshed at this event, but there is no certainty that we will see a new model. Other products that we will be seeing at this event include the new Apple Pencil 3rd generation which will have a glossy finish and new features. We will see Apple’s longtime rumored tracking device called AirTags. There’s also a possibility of us seeing the new AirPods 3, but they won’t launch until sometime during the summer. Many rumors have suggested that Apple is planning on releasing a new redesigned Apple Silicon iMac at this event. The new iMac is rumored to have a new design which is similar to the Pro Display XDR, and come in a variety of colors like the iMac G3. Finally Apple might be launching a new service called Podcast+. Last year Apple launched their Apple One program which let’s users bundle up Apple services for a one time monthly fee. It is possible for Apple to expand that network by introducing new services. The Apple event will be broadcasted live tomorrow at 10am PDT. It will be available on apple.com and YouTube. The event will be digital like all other previous events due to the ongoing pandemic.
- Leaked image shows off the iPhone 12 MagSafe Spring cases
A new image posted by Twitter user, Tommy Boi, showed the new MagSafe spring cases for the iPhone 12 lineup. Shortly after those were leaked, another Twitter user by the name of Majin Bu also leaked the MagSafe Spring cases with different colors. Apple usually updates the colors of their cases and watch bands on a seasonal basis. So it’s possible for Apple to also launch new watch bands with the same colors with these cases. The cases are rumored to be available after the upcoming Apple event which is on Tuesday, April 20th.
- The new iMac could debut at the Apple event next week
Image: EverythingApplePro Today Apple leaker l0vetodream tweeted an image of the Apple logo from next week’s Apple event along with an image of the retro colorful iMac G3’s. This could be a hint that the new iMac’s with a new design might debut at next week’s Apple event. The design will be similar to the Pro Display XDR and come in multiple colors like the iMac G3. Rumors recently suggested that Apple was working on new iMac’s with Apple Silicon that will launch sometime this year. So it is possible for them to launch at the upcoming Apple event.
- A new video shows the third generation Apple Pencil with a glossy finish
A video spotted on Twitter from @ileakeer shows off the new third generation Apple Pencil which appears to have a glossy finish. The design is similar to the one found on the second generation Apple Pencil. The flat edges means that it’s only for the iPad Pro and Air since those iPads allow you to magnetically attach the Apple Pencil on the side to charge and connect. We still don’t know what features the new Apple Pencil third generation will have, but many leakers claim that Apple will launch this at their April event next week along with the new iPad Pro’s which are also rumored to come.
- The 2022 iPhone lineup won’t include a mini model
A new report from Ming Chi Kuo claims that Apple will be dismissing the “mini” model from their lineup in 2022. Ming Chi Kuo claims that the 2022 iPhone lineup will consist of a high end 6.1-inch and 6.7-inch model which will be the “Pro” models and a low end 6.1-inch and 6.7-inch model which will be the base models. The reason for this could probably be because of the low sales for the iPhone 12 mini. Apple has reportedly not been able to sell as many units as they have anticipated they would. More customers tend to buy the bigger 6.1-inch iPhone 12 rather than the 5.4-inch iPhone 12 mini. Customers who are looking to buy a smaller iPhone will be able to check out the iPhone SE which is only $399 and has all the latest features available on the flagship iPhones.
- The iPhone 13 will feature a diagonal rear camera layout
Image Source: MySmartPrice New images from MySmartPrice give us a first look at 3D renders from the iPhone 13. The images show a new smaller notch and also a new diagonal rear camera module. Several sources have already leaked that the iPhone 13 lineup will feature a smaller notch. This will be done by moving the earpiece up to the bezel. Something that we didn’t expect to see is the diagonal rear camera layout. It is unclear why the iPhone 13 cameras are diagonal, but it could be because of the new camera features coming to the iPhone 13 lineup. The iPhone 13 lineup will launch in September. Previous rumors have claimed that the iPhone 13 is on schedule for production so we won’t see any delays this year.
- The iPhone 13 Pro will have a larger rear camera module and will be slightly thicker
Image Source: 91mobiles New images from 91mobiles gives us a first look at the iPhone 13 Pro which has a similar design to the iPhone 12 Pro. The iPhone 13 Pro does have a slightly larger rear camera module and a smaller notch when compared to the iPhone 12 Pro. Based off of the images we can tell that the iPhone 13 Pro has a similar rear camera module like the iPhone 12 Pro Max. This might be because the iPhone 13 Pro is supposed to get sensor shift stabilization which is a feature exclusively available only on the iPhone 12 Pro Max. The report also claims that the iPhone 13 Pro will get 0.2mm thicker than the iPhone 12 Pro. This will be done so Apple can add a larger battery in the chassis. Previous rumors have suggested that the iPhone 13 will launch in September and is also on schedule for production.

- Apple warns Mac users not to cover the camera
This week Apple warned its Mac users to not cover the camera with a camera cover. According to Apple the difference between the keyboard and the display is really tight when closed. This means having a camera cover can shatter the display. Apple also said they won't be replacing any Mac display which was destroyed due to the camera cover. Apple will only replace the display for its AppleCare+ customers. Apple also said a green light will illuminate when the camera is on. Still many people aren't buying what Apple said and are still insecure. Apple also said covering the camera can prevent features like automatic brightness and the True Tone display from working. Apple said those who are still insecure about their camera can go to system preferences and manually choose which apps can have access to the built in camera. A lot of people are upset by Apple's recent post ,people still think that having something covering the camera will keep them safe ,what are your thoughts on this leave a comment down below.
- Is it the right time to buy an iPhone?
The iPhone 11 and 11 Pro has been on the market since September of 2019. A lot of people were impressed by the amazing performance that both phones had. The iPhone 11 Pro was also the first iPhone to get a triple lens camera. For the iPhone 11 it was one of the cheapest iPhones Apple has launched in a long time. After seeing all the improvements you might ask if its the right time to upgrade. Apple has been hosting September launch events for a very long time now. At the event they always announce the new iPhones and some more Apple Products. Right now we are in July and September is only 1 month away so its better to wait. The 2020 iPhones are expected to come with 5G support which will improve its performance. Apple will also release the iPhone in 4 different sizes this year with the lineup consisting of the iPhone 12 ,iPhone 12 Max ,iPhone 12 Pro ,and iPhone 12 Pro Max. Its definitely better to wait for the new iPhones than buy one right now since you're getting better features. For the hardware the iPhone 12 Pro is expected to get a LiDAR sensor similar to the one that the 2020 iPad Pro has. A new design also shows that its supposed to get a smart connector on the side. At the moment we don't know what the smart connector is for but it's most likely for something in the future. These are just some of the reasons why you should wait for the 2020 iPhones.
