If this image is real, then the 2021 iPhone models will be called the iPhone 13 instead of the iPhone 12s which many people thought it would be called because of the minor updates. The iPhone 13 is expected to launch in September and rumors suggest that we’re just weeks away from the next Apple event.

Apple doesn’t have any 45mm Apple Watch products, so this might be for the Apple Watch Series 7. A recent rumor from Weibo user UnclePan claimed that Apple would launch the new Apple Watch models in a 41mm and 45mm size. He also said that previous Apple Watch bands will be compatible with the new watch models. Apple will most likely release the new Apple Watch models in a 41mm and 45mm size. This is probably because of the rumored design change and new screen size because of the flat edges.

Apple’s executive, Lisa Jackson’s new Twitter profile picture could probably hint at a virtual Apple event coming soon. Perhaps it could be the September event for the new iPhones. In the background of Lisa Jackson’s new profile picture is production equipment which includes audio equipment, lighting, and other lighting equipment on the ceiling. This photo was taken in the Steve Jobs theater. Normally during an event the area shown in the picture is the hands on area where people can play with the new products, but recently due to the pandemic Apple has featured it in many of their virtual events to present new products. The Apple September event is just a couple of weeks away and this could probably be in preparation for that. This could also just be a photo from the production of a previous event since Apple held many virtual events. This photo could possibly hint at a virtual September event. Apple has recently pushed back their return to hybrid working policy to 2022 because of the new rise in COVID-19 cases. We should be expecting a September event very soon weather it be virtual or in person.

We do know that the new Apple Watch Series 7 will have a new design with flat edges, larger speakers, and a larger display. The new Apple Watch Series 7 is expected to launch in September at Apple’s annual September event alongside the new iPhone 13 and other products.

Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman in a new report claims that Apple plans to launch the new Mac mini with the new powerful M1X chip “in the next several months”. The new Mac mini with the M1 chip was one of the few products Apple unveiled alongside the new M1 chip in their November 2020 event. So it’s possible for Apple to launch a new one with an updated chipset in the near future. Mark Gurman also says that Apple will bring additional I/O ports to the M1X Mac mini. This information was previously given to us by Jon Prosser who showed us renders of what the new Mac mini would look like. The information provided by Gurman on the new Mac mini seems to be relatively the same. We’re not sure specifically when the new M1X Mac mini will launch but it does seem like it will happen very soon.

According to a new report from Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman, Apple doesn’t plan to announce the AirPods Pro 2 until 2022. Apple was previously rumored to be working on a new version of the AirPods Pro with no stems, a better chip, and a design similar to the Samsung Galaxy Buds or Google Pixel Buds. It was previously rumored to launch sometime this year, but has been pushed back many times. Mark Gurman today said “I don’t think there will be an AirPods Pro hardware refresh until 2022” Apple is still expected to launch the new AirPods 3 which is the lower end version as early as next month. Recent rumors predict an appearance of the new AirPods at the Apple September event.

A new report from DigiTimes claims that Apple is planning to hold multiple events in September to launch all their new products. Apple is expected to launch the new iPhone 13 models, Apple Watch Series 7, AirPods 3, iPad mini 6, iPad 9, and M1X MacBook Pro this Fall, but holding two events in one month seems very unlikely. Even tough the events are virtual, Apple will most likely hold them one month after another. Last year Apple had three events in the Fall in September, October, and November to launch a bunch of new products. It’s unlikely we’ll see three events this Fall, but Mark Gurman claimed Apple was going to hold multiple events this Fall.

A new image shared by Techordo shows alleged images of the upcoming iPad mini 6 molds. These molds help case manufactures make cases for upcoming Apple products before they’re announced. Previously, Apple leaker, Jon Prosser shared renders of the upcoming iPad mini 6 which are very similar to the molds shown here. The molds confirm the new design with smaller bezels and no home button. The design is very similar to the new iPad Air 4. Like the iPad Air 4 the iPad mini 6 has smaller bezels and a single lens camera. It also has Touch ID on the power button and no Face ID. The power button and volume buttons are both placed on the top of the device. This is most likely because of the Apple Pencil. The smaller chassis on the iPad mini 6 won’t give enough room on the side to charge the Apple Pencil so Apple had to move the volume button to the top. The iPad mini 6 is expected to launch sometime this Fall. Previously Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman claimed that Apple is preparing for multiple events this Fall. The September event is normally reserved for the iPhones and Apple Watch, so it’s possible for Apple to launch the iPad mini 6 in October or November.

A new CAD render of the Apple Watch Series 7 shared by 91mobiles confirms the new design rumors. The image shows flat edges for the Apple Watch similar to the new iPad and iPhone design. The image doesn’t show any other design changes except the flat edges. The power button and Digital Crown appear to be the same. There are also two new speakers which are parallel to each other. The speakers on the Series 6 were only placed side by side and didn’t extend all the way. The dimensions that were shared show the same sizes. The Apple Watch Series 7 will be available in the same 40mm and 44mm sizes. This means users with previous Apple Watch bands can use them on the new Series 7. The flat edges also allows the screen to be larger and have a bigger surface area which wasn’t possible with previous models. Rumors from Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman claimed Apple will shrink the bezels on the Apple Watch Series 7. The Apple Watch Series 7 will launch in September at the Apple September event alongside the new iPhone 13 models.

Apple will still reserve the September event to launch their flagship iPhones. Gurman says Apple will most likely launch the iPhone 13 models, the new redesigned Apple Watch Series 7, and the new redesigned AirPods 3 at the September event and launch the rest at a different event. Last year due to the pandemic Apple wasn’t able to launch the iPhone at their September event. They instead launched it at an October event. We instead saw the new iPad Air 4, iPad 8, Apple Watch Series 6, and Apple Watch SE launch at that event. The M1X MacBook Pros which are expected to have a major design change and have multiple new features will launch at later date. It’s not clear yet which other event in the Fall we will see the new MacBook Pro in, but all leaks and rumors are pointing towards a Fall unveiling. We are just one month away from the next Apple event. It hasn’t yet been confirmed which date the event will be on, but previous rumors suggest the 14th since Apple usually holds their event on the second Tuesday of September.

A new law presented by the EU might require Apple to bring USB-C ports on the iPhone and get rid of the lightning port. The European Union wants a common charging port to be present on all smartphones sold in all of it’s member countries. This new law will significantly affect Apple since they’re the only big smartphone manufacturer which hasn’t adapted USB-C on their phones. Apple fired back by saying the new law will create a lot of waste since consumers would have to switch from lightning to USB-C cables. The European Union will present the new law next week. If the law gets voted on, Apple might be forced to ship iPhones in the EU with a USB-C port.

This report comes one month before the iPhone 13 which will launch in September. TrendForce claims that Apple will bring larger batteries to the iPhone 13. Last year Apple had to make the batteries smaller on the iPhone 12. But Apple has developed a way to save space to make room for the larger battery. TrendForce also mentioned that mmWave 5G will be available in other countries this year which was already known. Previously with the iPhone 12 Apple only made mmWave 5G available in the US. The new iPhone 13 models will also have the new 5nm A15 chip which will be more powerful than the A14. TrendForce claimed that the A15 will allow the iPhone 13 to have better performance with lower power consumption. For the pricing of the upcoming iPhone 13 models, Apple will have the same prices as the iPhone 12 models. There won’t be any price increases. We are very close to the iPhone 13 launch date. As we get closer more leaks will start to appear so we get a better of understanding of what the iPhone 13 lineup will be like.
