  • A new image of “Beats Studio Buds” has been found in iOS 14.6 and tvOS 14.6 beta

    A new image claimed to be of the new “Beats Studio Buds” which are Beats new wireless earbuds has been found in iOS 14.6 and tvOS 14.6 beta. The Beats Studio Buds are very different from the rest of the Beats lineup. Most Beats wireless earbuds have a wire connecting the two earbuds together or some kind of ear wrapping for security. The Beats Studio Buds has a similar design to the Samsung Galaxy Buds, and Google Pixel Buds. The Beats Studio Buds will also be available in black, white, and red and they will come with a charging case which will look similar to AirPods Pro charging case. Apple is also expected to launch a new version of the AirPods Pro with a similar design to the Beats Studio Buds. The new AirPods Pro will have no stems and will have a circular design. We don’t know when the Beats Studio Buds will be available, but there is speculation that the release for this will be imminent since they were found in the iOS 14.6 and tvOS 14.6 beta.

  • Apple launched new Apple Watch pride edition bands with new watch faces

    Apple has launched a new Apple Watch pride edition Solo Loop band along with a new Nike Sport Loop band. The new Pride Edition band features all colors in the braided loop and also comes with new watch faces for the loop. The Pride Edition Nike Sport Loop has six colors of the rainbow and has a reflective band which helps with visibility for users who choose to walk late at night. The Pride Edition bands are available to order now online and will be available in stores starting May 25. You can get the Pride Edition Braided Solo Loop for $99 and the Nike Solo Loop $49.

  • Apple introduced new Spatial Audio and Lossless Audio feature for Apple Music

    Today Apple introduced a new Spatial Audio and Lossless Audio feature for Apple Music. These features will be available in iOS 14.6, iPadOS 14.6, macOS 11.4, and tvOS 14.6. You will be able to listen to Apple Music in Spatial Audio with Dolby Atmos with no additional cost. Apple said Spatial Audio is an immersive three dimensional audio format that makes the music sound like it’s playing all around you. Users will be able to listen to music in Dolby Atmos with AirPods or Beats headphones with the W1 or H1 chip or any other headphones. They can also listen to it with the speakers on their iPhone, iPad, MacBook, or HomePod. Lastly, Apple introduced two new tiers for Lossless Audio. There is a Lossless tier which allows for audio up to 48kHz and a Hi-Res Lossless tier which allows for audio up 192kHz. Apple didn’t announce when the new features will be coming to Apple Music, but the release should be imminent.

    Image Source: RendersbyIan A new leak from Jon Prosser claims that Apple is planning on releasing the new MacBook Air in a variety of colors like the new iMac. Prosser on his YouTube channel claimed that a source who has reached out to him about the different colored iMacs has told him about a blue prototype MacBook. Prosser speculated that this could be the new MacBook Air with the M2 chip since it’s very unlikely that Apple would make colorful “Pro” edition MacBooks. The new MacBooks are expected to launch very soon. Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman has said that they could launch sometime in the second half of 2021.

  • iOS 14.5 allows you to unlock your iPhone with your Apple Watch

    iOS 14.5 allows users to unlock their iPhone using their Apple Watch running watchOS 7.4. This is much easier for people who can’t use Face ID because of the ongoing pandemic. You can now use your Apple Watch as a secondary method to unlock your iPhone rather than using Face ID or typing in your passcode. For this feature to work, you need to make sure that your Apple Watch is with you and is on your wrist. The first time you use it you’re going to need to enter your passcode to enable the functionality. You can’t use the Apple Watch for other things like Apple Pay and App Store purchases and you can’t use the Apple Watch to unlock things in other apps. Those apps will still require a passcode or Face ID.

    Apple launched many new features with in iOS 14.5. A new feature that stands out a lot is App Tracking Transparency which allows you to choose if you want a certain app to track you or not. App developers are now required to ask you if you want them to track you using your phone or if you don’t. Many apps like Facebook are against this since they’re business runs on personalized ads targeted towards users by tracking them. With iOS 14.5 Apple gives you an option to protect your data from app developers. App Tracking Transparency will stop apps from tracking you if you choose to do so.

  • Apple unveils the new iPad Pro with the M1 chip, 5G, Liquid Retina XDR display, and much much more

    Today Apple launched the next generation iPad Pro which features the new M1 chip, has 5G support, a new Liquid Retina XDR display, and Thunderbolt support. The iPad Pro comes in 128GB, 256GB, 512GB, 1TB, and 2TB of storage. The 128GB, 256GB, and 512GB models will feature 8GB of RAM while the 1TB and 2TB models will feature 16GB of RAM. The new M1 chip on the iPad Pro gives the iPad Pro 50% faster CPU performance and 40% faster GPU performance compared to the A12Z Bionic Chip from the previous generation iPad Pro. The 12.9” iPad Pro model features the Liquid Retina XDR Display which is found on the Pro XDR Display. The display also uses mini-LED backlighting with there being over 10,000 LED’s. There are also improvements to the camera. The iPad Pro features a 12-megapixel Ultra Wide lens camera that has a 120 degree field of view which will keep users in the frame during video calls. The iPad Pro also has support for Thunderbolt and provides up to 40Gbps of bandwidth and supports 10Gbps Ethernet. The iPad Pro has mmWave 5G support in the US. The 11” iPad Pro will start at $799 while the 12.9” will start at $1099. You can preorder them starting April 30th and they will be available in May.

    Along with the new iMac announcement today, Apple also updated the accessories for the iMac. The new magic keyboard comes in a variety of new colors to match the new iMac. It also for the first time features Touch ID which will allow users to unlock their iMac with their finger. There’s also a new magic keyboard available with a number keypad which also has Touch ID. Apple also updated the Magic Mouse and Magic Trackpad which also comes in matching colors with the new M1 iMac. These accessories will be available alongside the new iMac when they release sometime in May.

    Today Apple announced the new redesigned 24” iMac with M1. The new iMac comes in 7 colors and has a bunch of new features. The new iMac has a completely new design. It is just 11.5mm thin and is very light weight. The new iMac now has a 24” display with slimmer bezels. The display offers 500 nits of brightness, P3 wide color, and True Tone. The iMac also comes in 7 new colors including green, yellow, orange, pink, purple, blue, and silver. The iMac also features a new 1080p camera with better image quality, dynamic range, and noise reduction. The M1 chip allows the new camera to take full advantage of the image signal processor and neural engine. The microphones and speakers on the iMac are “studio quality”. The iMac features a six speaker system which supports both spatial audio and Dolby Atmos. The iMac also features the new M1 chip which allowed for the radical design change and also the replacement of the old cooling system with a new one just consisting of two fans. The iMac has two Thunderbolt ports along with two USB-C ports. There’s also a 1GBps Ethernet port in the power adapter. The iMac also has a two meter long power connector which attaches magnetically to the back of the iMac. The 24” iMac will start at $1299 with a 7-core GPU, 8-core CPU, 8GB of RAM, and 256GB of SSD storage. There’s also a $1499 model with 8-core GPU, 8-core CPU, 8GB of RAM, 256GB of SSD storage, and more color options. You can preorder it starting April 30th and it will start shipping in May.

    Apple today announced the next generation Apple TV 4K with a new Siri remote and the A12 Bionic chip. The Apple TV 4K still features the same design as previous generations. One noticeable change however, is the new Siri remote. The Siri remote has a new button layout and is much thicker than the previous remote. Apple said that users will find it more comfortable to hold than the previous model. Another big update to the Apple TV 4K is the addition of the A12 Bionic chip. This allows Apple TV 4K to stream video in HDR and Dolby Vision at 60 FPS. Apple also introduced a new feature that will allow users to get cinema quality picture on their TV. The Apple TV 4K will use light sensors in the iPhone to give users better image quality when watching things on their TV. The Apple TV 4K will balance the colors of the TV to give users a cinema quality experience. The new Apple TV 4K will be $179 for the 32GB model and $199 for the 64GB model. Apple will also sell the Apple TV HD with the new Siri remote for $149. You can also buy the new Siri remote separately for $59. They will all be available for pre orders on April 30th and will start shipping in the second half of May.

    Apple announced their new item tracker called AirTags. You can use AirTags with the find my app and place it on any item you want. If you loose an item AirTags will help you track it using the find my app. AirTags are very small and is made with stainless steel. They are also water and dust resistant. Each AirTag comes with a small speaker which will play a sound to help users find their lost item. Setting up AirTags is similar to how you will setup your AirPods. When you bring a new AirTag close to your iPhone, it will automatically recognize the new product and allow you to set it up. You can assign a name to the AirTag and track it down in the find my app. AirTags are equipped with the new Apple U1 chip which allows for “precision finding”. With Ultra Wide Band technology or UWB, AirTags will allow you track a product within centimeters of range. You can place AirTags anywhere you want. There are also accessories for AirTags which will help you attach them to your keys, backpack, or luggage. AirTags will start at $29, and you can get 4 for $99. Pre orders start this Friday, and they will be available on April 30th. Users can also choose to engrave their AirTags with a variety of emojis.

  • Apple launched the new iPhone 12 and 12 mini in purple

    Today Apple announced that the iPhone 12 and 12 mini will now be available in a new purple color on April 30th. Apple also announced new colors for their iPhone 12 MagSafe cases which will include Capri Blue, Pistachio, Cantaloupe, and Amethyst. The purple iPhone 12 is available for pre order starting this Friday and you can get them in stores on April 30th.
