Rumors from Jon Prosser before the WWDC 2021 keynote on Monday suggested that Apple will release the new MacBook Pro with the M1X chip at the event.

Although we didn’t see any new MacBook Pro or hardware at the event, Max Balzer on Twitter shared that Apple listed “m1x MacBook Pro” and “m1x” in the YouTube Tags for the WWDC 2021 keynote.

It’s not clear what this means since there wasn’t any hardware at the event, but we can probably confirm that the next Apple Silicon chip will be called M1X.

Previous rumors from Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman has suggested that Apple is planning on releasing a new redesigned MacBook Pro sometime this summer. It’s possible that we can see it very soon.
